Global Transit Lodge: Bridging the Housing Gap

In the heart of a bustling community grappling with the challenges of housing shortages, individuals and families ending up staying days, weeks, and months in hotels, tents and shelters, deprived of choice homemade food, for lack of kitchens in the hotels, tents and shelters. Two visionaries Johnson (J) Omoruyi and Georgia (G) Berry birthed J & G Global Transit Lodge & Breakfast from their apartment as a beacon of hope and innovation to providing homelike transit accommodations with full kitchen to guests. Born from a profound understanding of the critical need for accessible, affordable, and temporary housing solutions, our establishment has rapidly evolved into a more than just a place to stay; but a sanctuary for those in transition, a haven where individuals and families can find solace and support as they navigate their journey towards permanent housing.

Our mission is clear and unwavering: To alleviate the strain of housing shortages by providing a comfortable, secure, and affordable temporary lodging option. We strive to serve as a pivotal step in the journey of our guests, offering them a stable foundation from which they can seek out long-term housing solutions without the pressure and anxiety that often accompanies this process.

From single occupancy rooms to family suites, each space is thoughtfully furnished and equipped with essential amenities including full functional kitchens, to ensure a comfortable stay. Since opening our doors on October 22, 2022, J & G Global Transit Lodge & Breakfast has served as a temporary home for hundreds of individuals and families, each with their own unique story and housing journey.
